Join the SGV Seals Fantasy Premier League!
For this 2018-2019 season I have decided to create a fantasy league for all the Seals players and families. I want to invite all of you to join. This league is free to join and I think it can be a lot of fun for all our families. One of the best things young soccer players can do, in addition to playing, is watch more soccer. Although it is debatable, I think the English Premier League is the best soccer league in the world, with the best players in the world playing. While you don't even need to watch the games to play the fantasy game, having a stake in the outcomes engages individuals to pay attention to what is going on in the league from week to week. If a Seals player or parent has a team in the fantasy league, chances are they will watch more soccer.
This will be the first year we do this, so I have zero expectations as to how it will go. I would like to have at least 25 participatants and I would consider the league a success. If we are able to get at least 25 participants, I can think about awarding prizes to winners possibly in a monthly basis. Maybe a Seals Hoody will be awarded to each monthly winner. This league is totally beginner friendly. There is no draft so every single player can have the exact same player on their team. If everyone wants to pick Salah in their squad they can. This league is very simple and doesn't require a ton of work like some fantasy leagues do. You can even select "Autofill" and the site will generate your team for you.
This is a "Classic" style fantasy league, where your score is ranked against all the other participants in the league. The players on your team earn points depending on how well they play. For example, if your forward scores a hat trick, you will earn a ton of points. If your goalkeeper records a shut out, you will earn points. The team your Player plays on can lose over the weekend, but if he performs well, you can still earn points. You get a budget to spend, you can see how much every player is worth, and you must select 15 players for your team. You cannot select more than 3 players from any one team.

PRIZES: My goal is to have a monthly winner. That should give us a few different winners. Winner will be the player who has amassed the most points during the rounds of each month. This means you can join anytime to play. Prizes will come from the Seals store and all participatants must be part of the Seals family to collect a prize.
