The San Gabriel Valley Seals are a youth soccer club that competes in various leagues in and around the San Gabriel Valley, CA.  Founded in 2012, our teams compete in 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 leagues. In addition to league play, the Seals also host Friday Futsal Sessions in the Spring and Fall, as well as summer camps and clinics every summer. The San Gabriel Valley Seals can provide an excellent soccer environment for youth soccer players for the entire year, where most games and practices take place locally. The Seals are primarily coached and trained by Shane Watkins, founder and director of the SGV Seals. Shane is a former professional player with a wealth of playing and coaching experience. His professional playing career spanned the globe as he played in domestic leagues here in the US and abroad in Coast Rica and Ireland. Shane holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "B" Coaching License and has coached at a variety of levels, from youth to college for the last 20+ years.

Although his career took place in a variety of clubs, cities and continents, his formative and most influential years were all in San Francisco with the San Francisco Seals. The San Gabriel Valley Seals aim is to create a fun and challenging soccer experience for all players. "The reason most kids stop playing sports is because it isn't fun anymore."
